Tackling Skills Gaps

Knowledge Sharing.

Welcome to the Elite Project & Programme Management Community. Working in partnership with the Scottish Government, our Community is a free resource committed to driving innovation and improvement in Project & Programme Management through knowledge sharing and professional networking.

Knowledge sharing is an essential ingredient to achieving success. It can improve decision-making capabilities, identify skills gaps, help to build learning organisations and stimulate innovation and positive change.

Peer to peer knowledge sharing is especially impactful when expertise is scarce. Knowledge and skills that are passed between colleagues, learners or co-workers are especially effective due to their extreme relevancy and timeliness.

Beyond the Deliverable: Mastering the Art of Sustainable Outcomes and Legacy

Do your projects finish on time and on budget, but fail to make a lasting positive impact? If you’ve ever seen a project’s hard-won benefits fade away months after handover, you understand the gap between delivering a product and delivering actual, lasting value.

Beyond the Deliverable: Mastering the Art of Sustainable Outcomes and Legacy

đź“… Date: Friday, 19th December 2025

⏰ Time: 13:00 – 14:00 (UK time)

👤 Speaker: Steven Gardner, Sustainability in Programme Management Expert

What You’ll Master

  • Outcome-centric planning – How to define and measure success that extends far beyond project closure
  • Stakeholder & ecosystem integration – Techniques for engaging stakeholders to build ownership and ensure long-term project viability
  • Legacy & impact measurement – Frameworks for measuring and reporting on the social, environmental, and economic legacy of your work
  • Value & resilience creation – Strategies to embed resilience and create enduring value that strengthens your organisation’s reputation and bottom line

Why Sustainable Outcomes Change Everything

Project management has long been defined by the ‘iron triangle’ of time, cost, and scope. But a project delivered on time and on budget that creates no lasting positive value—or worse, has a negative long-term impact—is a failure in today’s world. This narrow focus leads to missed opportunities, wasted resources, and a failure to meet the growing demands from clients, regulators, and society for genuine corporate responsibility.

From Project Output to Positive Impact

This seminar is about shifting your focus from simply ‘finishing’ a project to ‘fulfilling’ its potential. You’ll learn how to embed sustainability into the very DNA of your programmes, ensuring your work delivers value for years to come.

Who Should Attend?

This complimentary seminar is exclusively for project and programme management professionals ready to embed lasting value into their work and lead projects that make a genuine difference.

Limited Seats Available

Stop letting your projects’ legacy end at handover. Join us on Friday, 19th December, and learn how to transform your project outcomes from temporary deliverables into enduring assets.

Founded in 2006 with headquarters in Glasgow, Elite Training offers a comprehensive range of IT, Professional Best Practice and Business Skills training across the UK.

At Elite Training, we understand that every client is different and as such customise training solutions to suit your individual requirements. We are interested in building strong, long lasting business relationships based on high quality training and customer care. We pride ourselves on responding quickly to queries and providing advice on all your training requirements.

We’ve spent the last 13 years building a diverse client base with an almost equal split between public and private sector contracts. We’ve worked extensively across all branches of Scottish Government, local government and the NHS. We’re also proud to have met the training needs of  private sector organisations such as TSB, Telegraph Media Group and BNP Paribas.

Our main business is conducted with mid-to-large companies and organisations, which are more inclined to invest in training and tend to have cohesive learning development plans.

We believe in improving organisational productivity through the reduction of skills gaps and tackling workforce skill shortages.  Our role in helping clients address these issues has led to tangible productivity and skills improvements across the whole of our client portfolio.
